Over 250 Indian soldiers killed in conflict with Pakistan

India has reportedly concealed the scale of its military losses in a recent conflict with Pakistan over the Pahalgam issue in Kashmir. According to a sensational report by Pakistan’s Samaa TV, citing internal sources, more than 250 Indian soldiers were killed in an operation along the Line of Control (LoC).

Although military and diplomatic sources have confirmed these figures, the Indian government is allegedly downplaying or denying the extent of the damage in public communications.

Secret Honors for Fallen Indian Soldiers

Samaa TV reported that the Indian government has decided to posthumously honor more than 100 of the deceased soldiers in a discreet manner to avoid public scrutiny. The list reportedly includes:

  • 4 pilots, including 3 Rafale fighter jet pilots

  • 7 members of the Indian Air Force (IAF)

  • 5 soldiers from the ‘G-Top’ post of the 10th Infantry Brigade

  • 9 members from the 93rd Infantry Brigade Headquarters

  • 5 S-400 missile defense operators killed at the Adampur airbase

Suppression of Information and Pressure on Families
Sources claim that the Indian government and military initially remained silent on the damage to Rafale jets and strategic bases. However, under pressure, several senior generals and diplomatic officials were forced to admit the truth.

Families of the fallen soldiers are also reportedly being pressured not to share photos or personal details on social media. The Modi administration is allegedly using information control and propaganda strategies to manage the situation.

A Battle of Information in the War Zone
Samaa TV further reported that although independent Indian and international media have confirmed damage to the Pathankot and Udhampur airbases, the Indian government continues to deny these losses. Observers noted that the government is struggling to manage both the battlefield losses and the information crisis.

The report also mentions Pakistan’s claims of success in ‘Operation Bunyadunum-Marsus’ and the destruction of Indian fighter jets, which has further escalated tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.

Pakistani media coverage of the issue has attracted attention from international outlets, raising serious questions about India’s role in concealing wartime truths and managing a growing crisis of credibility.
