Amazing Opportunity for 6,000 SSC Candidates Free Technical Training Announced by Asif Nazrul

Dr. Asif Nazrul inaugurates the country’s first skill development program for 6,000 SSC candidates at Tangail TTC, aiming to boost youth employment through technical training.

For the first time in the country’s history, 6,000 SSC candidates will receive training under a national Skill Development Program. The announcement came from Dr. Asif Nazrul, Advisor to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, and the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment.

He made the remarks on Saturday afternoon while inaugurating skill development courses for SSC candidates at Tangail TTC, Nagarpur TTC, and Kalihati TTC. Dr. Nazrul stated that “Under the Skill Development Program, 6,000 SSC examinees will be trained. This is the first initiative of its kind in Bangladesh’s history. The program will begin in Tangail. The international labor market no longer prefers unskilled or semi-skilled workers. We must gradually increase the number of skilled workers. Without skilled labor, Bangladesh’s future in foreign job markets will not be promising. This is just the primary step.”

He added that “after the SSC exams, students usually have a six-month gap with nothing productive to do. This program will engage them in learning computer skills, graphic design, and various technical trainings. Since assuming responsibility at the ministry, I’ve come across many overseas employment opportunities.”

He also said that “there are chances in Serbia, Romania, and other European countries. The Chief Advisor has received a proposal from Japan to take in 100,000 workers. When I visited Malaysia, they said they would recruit the highest number of workers from Bangladesh. We’ve also received positive indications from Saudi Arabia and Jordan regarding the regularization of Bangladeshi workers. However, there are still complications in Bahrain which we are actively working to resolve.”

Dr. Nazrul also shared that “We’ve launched a Welfare Lounge for expatriates. In the future, we dream of building a hospital exclusively for migrant workers  a facility that will be owned and managed by the expatriates themselves.”

The inaugural event at Tangail Technical Training Center was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Sharifa Haque. Also present were Saleh Ahmed Mozaffar, Director General of the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET), and Principal Rashedul Islam of Tangail TTC, who delivered the welcome speech.
