Yaba Recovered at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport
Authorities from the Airport Armed Police Battalion (APBn) have over 6,000 Yaba Pills Recovered from the stomach of a passenger at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
The suspect had used a special method to carry the narcotics internally, flying from Cox’s Bazar to Dhaka on a US-Bangla Airlines flight (BS 142).

Passenger Arrested Based on Secret Information
According to APBn, the passenger, identified as Md. Pannu Hawlader (30) from Amtali upazila in Barguna, was arrested on the night of Saturday, November 1, in front of the arrival gate of the domestic terminal.
The arrest was made based on a tip-off about drug smuggling through air routes.
Drugs Recovered Under Medical Supervision
After being detained, Pannu was interrogated, during which he admitted to carrying Yaba inside his stomach.
He was then taken to Kurmitola General Hospital, where doctors recovered the drug packets.

Under medical supervision, 136 packets were extracted through the rectum. When opened, the packets contained a total of 6,378 Yaba tablets.
Suspect Linked to Drug Trade
Officials said that Pannu Hawlader has been involved in drug trafficking for a long time.
The Airport Armed Police Battalion confirmed that legal action is now underway against him.
