In the last 24 hours, 21 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Bangladesh, with a positivity rate of 4.76 percent. However, no deaths from the virus were reported during this period.
The data was revealed in the latest COVID-19 update issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Tuesday, June 24.

According to the press release, 441 samples were tested between 8:00 am on Monday (June 23) and 8:00 am on Tuesday (June 24), confirming 21 new infections. So far this year, a total of 473 people have tested positive for the virus, and 19 people have died from COVID-19. Among the deceased, the majority were women.
The most recent COVID-related deaths were reported on Monday, when three people died from the virus.
