Rescued from Savar Late at Night
Mahira Binte Maruf, the HSC examinee who went missing on Sunday morning, has been found. RAB-4 rescued her from the Savar area of Dhaka late Sunday night, according to an official statement.
She Went Missing on Her Way to the Exam
Earlier that day, around 8 AM on Sunday (June 29), Mahira left her home in the Vatara area to go for her HSC examination. She is a student of Mirpur Government Bangla College.
Family sources said Mahira’s exam was supposed to end around 1 PM. But when she didn’t return home after the exam, her family became worried.
They went to the exam centre to check—but the exam authorities told them that Mahira had not shown up at all that day.

Family Filed a GD
Later in the evening, Mahira’s family filed a General Diary (GD) at Vatara Police Station, reporting her missing.
From that point, law enforcement agencies began searching for her.
Search Operation Leads to Her Rescue
After several hours of searching, RAB-4 located and rescued Mahira from the Savar area. Further details regarding how she ended up there or what happened during her absence have not been disclosed yet.

Now that Mahira has reportedly been found, many people are speculating that she ran away with her boyfriend. But these are just rumours, and no confirmed details have been provided by the authorities or the family.
