In a Facebook post made earlier today, Shafiqul Alam the press secretary at the CAO, revealed the 18 July commemoration in the national calendar, a significant update ahead of the official release.
According to the post, July 18 will be observed as Private University Resistance Day, dedicated to recognizing the “valiant efforts” of private university students. The declaration aims to honor their contributions and struggles in shaping socio-political discourse in Bangladesh.

Alam noted that the full calendar, which includes several other important national dates, will be officially launched tomorrow.
