Two individuals, including a commander of the Kuki-Chin National Army (KNA), were killed in a military operation conducted by the Bangladesh Army in the remote hills of Ruma upazila in Bandarban.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the incident in a press release issued on Thursday (July 3).

According to the ISPR, the army operation led to the deaths of the KNA commander and another individual. During the raid, the military recovered three submachine guns (SMGs), one rifle, and a cache of ammunition. The operation is still ongoing.
