In the Asian Auto Gymkhana Championship 2024 Round 2, Kashfia Arfa, the country’s first and only female racer, made history in the motorsport scene of Bangladesh. Despite facing difficulties with a new car and layout, she competed against strong international competitors and achieved an excellent P6 place in the Mix-doubles category.
“This is just the beginning!” Kashfia said, expressing her appreciation and pride. Many more are still to come!” She gave appreciation to her captain and mentor Rahman Rasel, as well as the Automobile Association of Bangladesh for their constant support in her success. She also expressed her gratitude to Arhaam Rahaman for exposing her to this exciting adventure.
Her involvement inspires young ladies all around the nation and increases Bangladesh’s visibility in the motorsport world. In an industry where the number of women in motorsports is continuously declining, Kashfia believes that her story will inspire others to follow their passions.
