Former minister Narayan Chandra Chand was arrested while fleeing to India by shaving his head

As Narayan Chandra Chand, a former minister of lands and livestock and member of parliament for Khulna-5 Constituency, fled to India over the Maheshpur border in Jhenaidah, the BGB captured him. He appears to have shaved his head at this point.

He was taken into custody on Sunday, October 6, at approximately 9:30 p.m. from the upazila’s Srinathpur border area. The BGB headquarters’ public relations officer provided this information to the media. Islam that is savage.
Lieutenant Colonel Shah, the captain of Maheshpur 58 BGB, verified the arrest. Former Land Minister Narayan Chandra was arrested by BGB members at the Srinathpur border while attempting to enter India illegally, according to Azizus Shaheed.

In the 12th National Parliament Election, Narayan Chandra Chand, a member of parliament from Khulna-5 Constituency, was appointed Minister of Land Ministry. He was chosen as a member of parliament three times in a row, in the elections of 2008, 2014, and 2018. He was sworn in as the Minister of State for Fisheries and Livestock on January 12, 2014. After the death of Chayedul Haque, the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock, a few days later, he assumed the role of that ministry’s minister.
A case was filed against Narayan Chandra Chand on charges of rape in Khulna on September 29. In that case, 18 people including the former chairman of Dumuria Upazila Parishad, Gazi Ejaz Ahmed, were accused. In the statement of the case, it is said that the former chairman of Dumuria Upazila Parishad, Gazi Ejaz Ahmed, had been raping the girl for a long time with the promise of marriage. On the night of January 27, the young woman was admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital after complaining of rape. The next day, some men forcibly took him into a microbus from outside the hospital’s One-Stop Crisis Center (OCC). The plaintiff alleged that the accused persons are close associates and followers of former Land Minister Narayan Chandra Chand.
