VP Nur’s Allegation: ‘BNP Killed Thousands After August 5’

President of Gana Adhikar Parishad and former vice president of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU), Nurul Haque Nur, has made serious allegations against the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

He stated, “Since August 5, BNP has killed thousands of people, including their own party activists.”
VP Nur said,
“Even before coming to power, BNP has established a reign of extortion, terrorism, and looting. Recently, an innocent man was brutally murdered by a Jubo Dal leader in Midfort.”

He made these remarks while addressing the ‘July Revolution Mass Rally’ held on Saturday at the playground of Abdus Sobhan Rahat Ali High School in Patiya upazila of Chattogram.

He further warned, “If BNP does not stop such behavior, the country may face an even more dire situation in the future is worse than the rule of the Awami League.”

The rally was presided over by Dr. Emdadul Hasan, President of Chattogram South District Gana Adhikar Parishad.

Other speakers at the event included—
Kamrun Nahar, Central Joint Secretary; Lokman Hasan, Divisional Organizing Secretary; Syed Plabon Ahmad, Vice President of Youth Rights Council; Engineer Akhtaruzzaman, Organizing Secretary of Student Rights Council; Advocate Ariful Haque, Chattogram District Coordinator of the Quota Reform Movement; and July Revolution organizers Jasim Uddin Akash, Faruk Hasan, Abu Hanif, Abu Toha, Abdur Rahman, Nizam Uddin Akash, Hasan Tarek, Md. Yusuf, and Golam Sobhan, among others.

The speakers highlighted the significance of the July Revolution and called for a united movement of students and the masses against political corruption.
