Bangladeshi Student Dies in Tragic Road Accident

A Bangladeshi student named Sayed Pratyay (20) was killed in a fatal road accident near Adelaide, South Australia. The accident occurred at 3:45 am local time on Saturday.

According to police sources, Pratyay and his two friends were traveling in a moving private car. Suddenly, a kangaroo came out of the forest on a dark highway covered in thick fog. While trying to save the animal, the driver lost control. The speeding car rolled and fell onto the sloping land nearby.

After the accident, it was learned that the deceased Sayed Pratyay was sitting alone in the back seat of the car. The rear part of the car collapsed due to the violent impact and he was the most damaged. He was crushed inside and died on the spot. On the other hand, his two friends in the car were seriously injured and are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.

After the accident, the police quickly reached the scene when the emergency alert on the mobile phone of an injured friend was activated. They rescued Pratyay dead and shifted the other two to the hospital.

Pratyay migrated from Bangladesh to Australia in February this year for higher education. He was studying in the computer science department of a university there.

The accident has cast a shadow of deep grief on the Bangladeshi students and expatriate community. An investigation is underway by the local administration and the concerned authorities are working to provide the detailed cause of the accident.
