Sadiq Kayem, the central publishing secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir and former president of its DU branch, has urged the countrymen to be ready to liberate Gopalganj.
He made this call in a post on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday.

He said,
গোপালগঞ্জকে আমরা দিল্লীর কাছে ইজারা দেইনি। আমার সহযোদ্ধাদের উপর ন্যূনতম আঘাত আসলে পুরো বাংলাদেশের জনগণ গোপালগঞ্জকে পতিত ফ্যাসিস্টের কব্জা থেকে স্বাধীন করবে ইনশাআল্লাহ।
Translation: “We did not lease Gopalganj to Delhi. If there is minimal harm to my fellow soldiers, the people of the entire Bangladesh will liberate Gopalganj from the clutches of the fallen fascists, God willing.”
The activities of the police administration and joint forces are not promising. Citizens should be prepared.
