American pop singer Connie Francis is no more. The legendary artist breathed her last while undergoing treatment on Tuesday (July 16), Indian media outlet Hindustan Times reported.
His death was confirmed by close friend Ron Roberts, who wrote in an emotional post on social media,
‘অত্যন্ত দুঃখের সঙ্গে এবং ভারাক্রান্ত হৃদয়ে আমি আপনাদের জানাচ্ছি যে গত রাতে আমার প্রিয় বন্ধু কনি ফ্রান্সিসের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। বিস্তারিত পরে জানানো হবে।’
Translation: “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I inform you that my dear friend Connie Francis passed away last night. Details to be announced later.”
It is known that Connie was admitted to the hospital in early July with severe stomach pain. As her condition deteriorated, she was transferred to the ICU. She died while undergoing treatment.

Connie Francis’ last social media post was on July 4, where she wrote,
Translation: “I feel pretty good today. Happy 4th of July to everyone.”
