Germany is set to introduce a groundbreaking technology for battlefield surveillance and intelligence gathering. The country has recently begun work on a special type of ‘cyber cockroach’, which combines the bodies of living insects with artificial technology.
These sophisticated bio-robot cockroaches are equipped with miniature cameras and sensors on their backs. Through this, they will be able to send real-time images of enemy positions and combat situations directly to the army. This technology is expected to give a new dimension to military intelligence activities.

The technology is being developed by a specialized company in Germany called Swarm Biostatics. Stefan Wilhelm, the head of the company, said,

According to analysts,
Translation: Germany has increased its investment in the defense sector in the aftermath of the Ukraine-Russia war. In line with this, they believe that the development of such innovative technology will radically change the nature of warfare.
However, beyond military use, experts have expressed hope that this cyber cockroach technology will play an important role in security forces and disaster management in the future.
