In a move to ease congestion and strengthen security, the authorities at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport have introduced a new set of entry restrictions. From Sunday, July 27, only two companions per passenger will be allowed into designated areas to bid farewell or welcome travelers.
The official notice, issued on Friday, explains that the decision aims to ensure smooth passenger movement, reduce traffic, and enhance safety at the airport. Under the new rules, a maximum of two companions can enter the departure driveway and arrival canopy areas to see off or receive a passenger.
