Acting Director of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Professor Dr. Md. Nasir Uddin, has announced that two students will be released today, Saturday (July 26). Currently, 36 patients are admitted under their care. Among them, four are in critical condition and nine are severely burned.
He shared this information during a press conference held at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery this afternoon (Saturday).
He said, “First of all, it is unfortunate that two more patients have passed away in the last 24 hours. As we informed you earlier, we would begin discharging patients from today.

In line with that, we will be releasing two children from the hospital shortly. We hope to release another ten patients next week.”
The acting director further stated that four patients are in critical condition, and nine others are seriously injured. Additionally, a medical board has been formed with the participation of foreign doctors. He mentioned that all necessary medications are being procured in advance to ensure proper treatment.
