Chief Advisor of Bangladesh, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has called on citizens to celebrate the upcoming national election like a joyful festival. He shared his message through a Facebook post, encouraging families to actively take part in the voting process.
Dr. Yunus wrote:
“নির্বাচনের দিনকে আমরা ঈদের উৎসবের মতো করতে চাই। এবারের ভোটের আনন্দ থাকবে সবার মধ্যে। আপনারা সবাই বাচ্চাকাচ্চাদের নিয়ে ভোটকেন্দ্রে যাবেন, নাগরিক অধিকার প্রয়োগের মহা আনন্দ পরবর্তী বংশধরদের কাছে তুলে ধরার জন্য।”
Translation:
“We want to make election day like the Eid festival. This time, everyone will enjoy the joy of voting. Please go to the polling center with your children, to pass on the great joy of exercising citizen rights to the next generation.”
Chief Advisor’s message highlights the importance of voting and aims to create a positive, festive environment on election day for all citizens.
