Transparency is a Top Priority
The CEC highlighted the importance of transparency and the role of the media in ensuring a credible election. He said:
Translation:
“The media plays a very important role in ensuring the transparency of an election. We want to make the election as transparent as possible—clear like a mirror. Let the world see whether there is any lack in our efforts. We do not want to do anything in secret.”
The CEC’s message sends a clear signal that the Election Commission is aiming for an open, transparent, and inclusive election in the coming months.
