Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has issued a strong warning to India, stating that Pakistan will wait for India to complete its dam on the Indus River and then fire 10 missiles at it. His comments, made during his second visit to the United States in just two months, also included nuclear threats, claiming Pakistan would take down “half the world” if its survival was at risk.

Pak Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir is visiting the United States for the second time in just two months. During this visit, he attended a special event organized for him in Tampa, Florida.

Threat to Target Indian Dam

While speaking at the event, Munir warned India over its planned dam construction on the Indus River.

Translation: We will wait for them to complete the dam on the Indus River, then we will fire 10 missiles at it.

Nuclear War Warning

Pak Army Chief escalated his remarks by issuing a potential nuclear threat.

Translation: If Pakistan’s existence is threatened and we are on the verge of destruction, we will bring down half of the world with us, and then we will also be destroyed.

He added that Pakistan is a nuclear power and would not hesitate to act if necessary.

Translation: “We are a nuclear-armed country. If we feel we are sinking, we will take half of the world down with us.

Tensions with India

The tensions between India and Pakistan have been escalating since earlier this year. In May, both countries engaged in a four-day conflict. Prior to that, in April, an armed attack in Pahalgam, Indian-administered Kashmir, killed 26 people.

Following the attack, India cancelled the Indus River Treaty with Pakistan and warned that it would no longer share Indus River water with Pakistan.
