Popular content creator Tawhid Afridi is facing serious allegations of harassment, blackmail, and abuse, involving multiple women. Recent evidence, including leaked phone calls and victim testimonies, has revealed his threatening behavior. In one chilling incident, he allegedly threatened a woman.
Longstanding Allegations Against Tawhid Afridi
Tawhid Afridi and his father Nasir Uddin Sathi have been accused for years of harassment, cheating, and blackmail. A recent video report by Crime Edition highlighted Afridi’s forced involvement of YouTubers and bloggers to work for political purposes with the ruling party and exposed his other wrongdoings.
Threat Against a Victim Woman
According to a woman who wished to remain anonymous, Afridi abruptly ended their long-term relationship and later summoned her to the DB office with threats of disappearance. She stated:
“আমি জানতে পারি, বিভিন্ন মেয়ের সঙ্গে তার (আফ্রিদি) সম্পর্ক আছে। মুনিয়া নামের একটা মেয়ে আছে, তার সঙ্গেও আফ্রিদির সম্পর্ক। এগুলো জেনে ওর সঙ্গে আমি একটু রাগারাগি করি। এটা স্বাভাবিক, আমার একটু খারাপ লাগতেই পারে। আমি যেহেতু ওকে ভালোবেসে ফেলেছি। তো, ওকে আমি বলার পরে খুব বাজেভাবে রিঅ্যাক্ট নেয়। এক সময় এরকমও বলে, মুনিয়ার যেরকম অবস্থা হয়েছে, আমারও ঠিক সেরকম অবস্থা হবে।”
Translation: “I learned that he has relationships with several girls. There is a girl named Munia, and he has a relationship with her too. I got a little upset when I learned this. It’s normal to feel bad. Since I had fallen for him, when I confronted him, he reacted very badly. At one point, he said that I would meet the same fate as Munia.”
This shows the indirect threat of violence against her.

Phone Records Reveal Intimate Connections
Phone call records reveal Tawhid Afridi’s frequent visits and intimate connections with Munia, which may shed new light on Munia’s mysterious death. Some exchanges include:

“এই যে, আমি এই যে, আমি রাত্রে বেলার মধ্যে আসতেছি। তুমি কোথায় আসবা?”
Translation: “I’m coming tonight. Where will you be?” -
“তোমাকে পিক করব রাতে।”
Translation: “I will pick you up tonight.”
Victim testimonies combined with these records indicate Afridi’s manipulative behavior and abusive control over multiple women.
Criminal Cases Filed Against Afridi
So far, Tawhid Afridi is facing two criminal cases:

At Jatrabari Police Station, he is accused of plotting and executing an attack during the July movement against a protester named Asadul Haque Babu.

At Badda Police Station, he is accused of opening indiscriminate fire on protesters under the Badda Flyover on July 20, 2024, using illegal firearms.
These allegations, combined with threats against women, highlight a pattern of intimidation and abuse by Afridi.
