Announcement of Bangladesh Visit

Mala Ali Kurdistani, a well-known herbal medicine practitioner and social media influencer from Iraq’s Kurdistan region, has officially announced that he will soon travel to Bangladesh.

During his visit, he plans to open several universities and hospitals across the country.

His Goals and Mission

In a message posted on Facebook, Mala Ali said his aim is to teach 1,000 students sacred science and pass this knowledge to the next generation.

He also claimed that he has created 250 kinds of prophetic and herbal medicines. According to him, these medicines will not only improve public health but also help to strengthen Bangladesh’s economy.

He expressed hope that in the future, people from many countries will travel to Bangladesh for treatment.

Background and Identity

Mala Ali Kurdistani comes from Kalak village in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. On his official Facebook page, he introduced himself saying:

“My name is Dr. Ali Mahmood Hassan. I have been a specialist in herbal medicine for 28 years.”

However, local media reports reveal that his real name is Mollah Ali Kalak.

Currently, his Facebook page has over 5.8 million followers, making him one of the most popular herbal healers in the region.

Controversies and Criticism

Despite his popularity, Mala Ali has been surrounded by controversy for many years. In his videos, he often claims that he can heal sick people and those possessed by spirits using verses from the Quran.

He once ran a healing centre in a village near Erbil in Kurdistan province. But due to government bans and multiple complaints, he was arrested several times.

Arrests Abroad and Support in Pakistan

Mala Ali’s controversial activities were not limited to Iraq. He was also detained in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan on different occasions.

However, in Pakistan, he gained widespread popularity and acceptance. Alongside ordinary citizens, some of the country’s top politicians and religious leaders openly supported him.

Among them were former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and the National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, who both welcomed him in courtesy meetings.
