BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu said,
শেখ হাসিনা ভারতে বসে দেশে বিশৃঙ্খল পরিস্থিতি সৃষ্টি ও নির্বাচন ঠেকানোর ষড়যন্ত্র করছে। এর মাধ্যমে চোরাগুপ্তা ভাবে দেশে ফেরার চেষ্টা করছে তারা। তবে তাদের সেই ষড়যন্ত্র সফল হবে না।
Translation: Sheikh Hasina is conspiring to create chaos in the country and prevent the elections from being held in India. Through this, they are trying to return to the country secretly. However, their conspiracy will not succeed.
On Friday (September 19) he made this statement at a rally titled “Protest against the conspiracy to sabotage the election” held at the National Press Club on Friday (September 19).

Elections are the solution
Shamsuzzaman Dudu said,
দেশকে নির্বাচনের পথে নেয়া গেলে সব ষড়যন্ত্র ব্যর্থ হবে। এমনকি দেশের পরিস্থিতিও স্বাভাবিক হবে। নির্বাচনের মাধ্যমে জনগণকে ভোটাধিকার ফিরিয়ে দেয়া যাবে।
Translation: The country is taken to the path of elections, all conspiracies will fail. Even the situation in the country will be normal. The people can be given back the right to vote through elections.
He further said,
শেখ হাসিনা গত ১৬ বছর জোর করে ক্ষমতা কুক্ষিগত করে রেখেছিল। সে সময় বিরোধী দলের কথা শুনলে তাকে লজ্জাজনকভাবে পালাতে হতো না। বর্তমানে ব্যাংকে কোনো টাকা নেই। সব টাকা শেখ হাসিনার লোকেরা পাচার করেছেন।
Translation: Sheikh Hasina had forcibly held power for the last 16 years. At that time, if she listened to the opposition, she would not have had to flee in shame. Currently, there is no money in the bank. All the money has been laundered by Sheikh Hasina’s people.
