Salahuddin’s Strong Criticism of Awami League
At the Comilla South District BNP conference on Saturday afternoon, September 27, 2025, Salahuddin Ahmed, a member of BNP’s standing committee, harshly criticized the ruling Awami League and government.
Salahuddin Ahmed said:
Translation: “Awami League’s political death happened in Dhaka, and it has been buried in Delhi.”
Allegations Against Sheikh Hasina
Salahuddin further accused the Awami League of exploiting religion and the 1971 liberation legacy for political business:
Translation: “A party is selling heaven tickets; they are religious businessmen. Political business using religion will not be tolerated in this country. While exploiting the spirit of 1971, Hasina fled the country and took refuge in Delhi.”

Translation: “We have come here over such a staircase of blood. Those who committed genocide will be judged on the soil of this country.”

- 29.25 lakh crore Taka laundered abroad
