Information and Broadcasting Adviser Mahfuz Alam have emphasized the importance of turning slogans into action. Speaking recently, he said,
“আমরা অবশ্যই দিল্লি না ঢাকা স্লোগান দেবো। স্লোগানের সাথে সাথে ঢাকাকে কিভাবে সত্যিকার অর্থেই বড় করা যায় সেটার চিন্তাও করবো। স্লোগানের শক্তিকে যেন আমরা রাষ্ট্র গঠনে সত্যিকারভাবেই কাজে লাগাই।”
Translation: “We will surely chant the slogan ‘Not Delhi, but Dhaka’. Along with the slogan, we must also think about how to truly make Dhaka great. Let us use the power of slogans to genuinely contribute to nation-building.”

He urged citizens and policymakers to turn patriotic sentiments into meaningful development and national progress.
