Adviser Shares His Daily Experience on Facebook

Railway, Road Transport, Bridges, and Power Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan posted on Facebook about his day-to-day experiences titled “Adviser’s Daily Log, Driver Without Helmet, and Safe Exit”.

He wrote about his visit from Bhairab to Ashuganj on Wednesday, where he faced severe traffic congestion. Despite delays, he continued his journey by motorcycle after walking part of the way.

Road Safety and Traffic Concerns

The adviser mentioned inspecting several road and rail sites and observing poor traffic discipline.

Translation:
“Though the main cause of the traffic jam was the ongoing construction at Sarail intersection, I found that the delay was mainly due to drivers’ lack of discipline and poor highway traffic management.”

He added that discussions have been held with the Inspector General of Police and that six immediate measures have been ordered to fix the road conditions.

Responds to “Safe Exit” Debate

During his return, a journalist asked for his opinion on the ongoing “safe exit” discussion among advisers.

Translation:
“On my way back, a journalist from Samakal asked for my comment on the advisers’ ‘safe exit’ issue. Since Nahid Islam, who raised the topic, is someone I deeply respect, I find it inappropriate to comment. Moreover, I do not make political remarks.”

Reflection on Service and Integrity

Fawzul Kabir emphasized that he has never used his position for personal or family gain and always tried to serve people sincerely.

Translation:
“Through my teaching career, I had confirmed opportunities to become a permanent resident of the United States and Singapore, but I did not accept them.”

Emotional Closing Statement

He ended his post with a heartfelt reflection on his age and dedication:

Translation:
“So, if at the age of 72 I have to think about a safe exit, that would be deeply sad!”
