Translation: “The law and order situation in the country has improved a lot, and it will improve even more in the future.”

When asked about NCP leader Nahid’s recent statement regarding safe exit, he said,

Translation:“You can ask your questions, everyone can ask their own questions.”

Regarding the beards on the faces of demon idols during Durga Puja, he said,

Translation: “We have already filed a GD in the names of over 700 people who have done this and cases are being filed to bring them under the law. We will bring those who have done this misdeed very soon under the law.”

Fundamental principles of Buddhism and peacemaking

The advisor said that the fundamental principles of Buddhism are to establish peace by binding everyone in the bonds of non-violence, equality, friendship and love. He said,

Translation: “According to Buddha, people will be friendly. People will be forgiving and free from delusion. People will respect people and respect each other.”

He mentioned the five precepts of Buddhism and said,

Translation: “The five precepts of Buddhism are the five basic principles prescribed by Buddha. These five principles are humanistic and universal rights-based, which are good education for human beings to live ethically. Through the acquisition and practice of these qualities, injustice, lawlessness, crime and corruption will be stopped in society and the state.”

He said that the government has taken all measures to peacefully organize the month-long Kaath Chibar Daan Karma from Ashwini Purnima to Kartiki Purnima in all Buddhist monasteries in the country.

When journalists asked about the physical condition of OC Investigation Md. Habibullah Khan, he angrily said,

Translation: “When was I sick? Go and ask the person who reported it. If there is a picnic at the police station, is that newsworthy?”

The journalists argued that some members of the police station were admitted to the hospital after getting sick, so the matter is newsworthy. In response, Habibullah Khan said,

Translation: “Suppose we had a picnic at the police station. Did we extort money from someone? We have the right to eat with our own money!”

Then, when the journalists were about to leave, he said,

Translation: “The police have become like monkeys now. The police beat up rickshaw pullers. They are making us dance in monkey cages. I am thinking of other jobs.”

When the journalists objected, he added,

Translation: “I have become monkeys now, that’s why I said that.”

When asked about this, OC Investigation Habibullah Khan denied making such comments to the journalists. On the other hand, Kishoreganj Superintendent of Police Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury said,

Translation: “It is not appropriate to talk like this. A police officer cannot get angry with journalists if there is negative news, he can correct himself. I will look into the matter. Whether he will do the job or not is his personal matter.”
