Rashed Khan’s Harsh Warning on Facebook
Gono Odhikar Parishad General Secretary Rashed Khan has made a strong statement, saying that if the Awami League returns to power, even “begging at Sheikh Hasina’s feet” will not bring forgiveness.
“সাধারণ ডিম বিক্রি করে আমরা কীভাবে ১৫ লক্ষ কাস্টমার এনেছি—এই বইয়ে আছে তার বাস্তব কাহিনি!”
He made the comment on his Facebook post on Sunday (October 19), accusing the ruling party of plotting to destabilize Bangladesh ahead of the upcoming national election.
Allegations of Political Conspiracy
In his post, Rashed Khan wrote:
“আমি বেশ কয়েকবার বলেছি, নির্বাচনকে সামনে রেখে বাংলাদেশকে অস্থিতিশীল করবে আওয়ামী লীগ। তাদের প্ল্যান বিভিন্ন স্থাপনায় অগ্নিসংযোগ, গুপ্তহত্যা ও নির্বাচন বানচাল করা।”
Translation: “I have said many times that ahead of the election, the Awami League will try to destabilize Bangladesh. Their plan includes arson attacks, secret killings, and disrupting the polls.”
He added that if the Awami League succeeds in stopping the February election, the country may face another political crisis similar to the 1/11 episode.
“আপনার ব্যবসা এখন অনলাইনে— Storola-এর সাথে সহজ ও স্মার্টভাবে!”
Warning About the Future
Rashed Khan continued:
“সম্মিলিতভাবে আওয়ামী লীগকে প্রতিরোধ করতে না পারলে এই বাংলাদেশে আবারও শেখ হাসিনা তথা আওয়ামী লীগ ফিরবে। তারপরের পরিস্থিতি কি হতে পারে, সেটি কারও অবোধগম্য নয়।”
Translation: “If we fail to resist Awami League collectively, Sheikh Hasina and her party will return again. What happens afterward will be beyond imagination.”

Call for Unity Against ‘Fascism’
Finally, he urged everyone not to be divided and to stay united against what he called a fascist force.
“ভোটের রাজনীতির চিন্তা করে যারা আওয়ামী লীগকে মাফ করে দিচ্ছেন, তারা আওয়ামী লীগ ফিরলে হাসিনার পা ধরেও মাফ পাবেন না।”
Translation: “Those forgiving the Awami League for political gain should know — if the party returns, even begging at Hasina’s feet won’t save them.”
He also warned against allowing “Indian hegemonic forces” to bring the Awami League back to power through internal divisions.
