Speaking at the Karachi Press Club on Monday, Gohar revealed that these gold reserves could be large enough to clear Pakistan’s foreign debt. He said the issue had already been reported to the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) governor.
Gohar shared that his team had already contacted Australian and Canadian drilling companies to start the exploration process.
