At a massive student-public rally held at Mir Mugdho Square in Shibganj under Bogura-2 constituency on Sunday (November 9) at 4 PM, Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdha, brother of martyr Mir Mugdho, delivered a strong message against what he termed the “tyranny of killer Hasina.”
Martyr Mir Mugdho’s brother, Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdha, said,
‘খুনি হাসিনার গুম-খুন ও জুলমের শিকার সবচেয়ে বেশি হয়েছে বিএনপি। তারেক রহমানের ৩১ দফা বাস্তবায়নে দেশজুড়ে জুলাইযোদ্ধাসহ সব তরুণ-যুবককে একত্রিত করে ফ্যাসিবাদীব্যবস্থা চিরজীবনের জন্য বিলুপ্ত করতে হবে।’
Translation:“BNP has been the biggest victim of the killings, enforced disappearances, and oppression carried out by killer Hasina. To permanently abolish the fascist system, all young men including the July fighters must unite across the country to implement Tarique Rahman’s 31-point agenda.”
Snigdha stated that the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) had suffered the most under enforced disappearances, killings, and political repression during Hasina’s regime.

He called upon the nation’s youth and the “July fighters” to unite under the leadership of Tarique Rahman and work collectively to abolish the fascist system once and for all.
Recalling his political inspiration, Snigdha said,
‘ছোটবেলা থেকে আপসহীন নেত্রী বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার আপসহীনতা দেখে আসছি।তার আদর্শে উজ্জীবিত হয়েই বিএনপিতে যোগ দিই।’
Translation:“Since childhood, I have witnessed the uncompromising leadership of Begum Khaleda Zia. Her courage and determination inspired me to join the BNP.”

The atmosphere at the rally was electric. Thousands of students and supporters arrived in processions, waving party flags and chanting slogans. More than 500 motorcycles accompanied a grand rally from the historic Mahasthangarh to the event venue to welcome Snigdha.
The gathering was organized by the Upazila and Municipal BNP of Shibganj. The event was presided over by Mir Shahe Alam, the BNP nomination aspirant for the Bogura-2 constituency.
