Commissioner’s Statement

When contacted, DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md Sajjat Ali confirmed the instruction and said it aligns with legal provisions. He said,

Translation: “I said over wireless that if anyone sets a bus on fire or tries to cause loss of life by throwing cocktails, they should be shot. This is stated in our law.”

He declined to make further comments.
