For the first time in its history, North South University (NSU) will host a Qur’an Conference and Seerah Exhibition on 9 December 2025 at the NSU Plaza Area. This landmark event marks a new chapter in the university’s cultural and spiritual activities, offering students and visitors an opportunity to reflect, learn, and connect with the teachings of Islam in a meaningful way.
The program is designed to create an atmosphere of inspiration through discussions on the timeless guidance of the Qur’an and the life and character (Seerah) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). A large number of students, faculty members, and invited guests from various backgrounds are expected to take part.
Two of Bangladesh’s most respected Islamic scholars will attend as special guests—Shaikh Ahmadullah and Mizanur Rahman Al Azhari.

Shaikh Ahmadullah, a renowned Islamic preacher, social reformer, and negotiator, is the founder and chairman of the As-Sunnah Foundation. His contributions extend beyond Bangladesh, with active participation in international Islamic programs in countries including Japan, India, and the UAE.
Mizanur Rahman Al Azhari, widely admired for his eloquent lectures and educational initiatives, has earned deep respect among young learners and the broader Muslim community. His work as an Islamic scholar, writer, and motivational speaker has influenced many.
According to the organizers, this event is expected to be a spiritually uplifting occasion that will enrich the minds and hearts of the NSU community while promoting a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings.
