Fire Reported at BMU Building
A fire broke out at one of the buildings of Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) in Shahbag, Dhaka, on Wednesday morning.
According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence, the fire started shortly after 11 AM.

Fire Service Responds with Seven Units
Officials confirmed that seven units of the Fire Service are currently working to bring the fire under control.
Firefighters reached the spot immediately after receiving the alert.
Fire Service spokesperson Talha Bin Jasim told Prothom Alo:
“We received the fire report at 11:14 AM. Seven fire service units rushed there immediately. Efforts are underway to bring the fire under control.”
