Over the past few days the country has been experiencing one blaze incident after another. Today as well a similar occurrence took place in the capital’s Moghbazar area.
A fire broke out at an eight-storey residential building in Dhaka’s Moghbazar on Thursday (27 November) night. According to Fire Service officials, the blaze was reported at 9:18 pm from a building located in the Dilu Road area.

Duty Officer Rakibul Hasan of the Service control room confirmed that two units were immediately dispatched to the scene. The fighters worked quickly and managed to bring this under control at around 9:40 pm.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause. No information regarding casualties or the extent of property damage has been reported so far.
