Global Conflict Could Impact Bangladesh
Ashraf Uddin Nizan said that the ongoing instability and war across the world are not only international issues but could also have serious effects on Bangladesh’s internal stability. He said,
Translation: The ongoing global instability and war are not just international issues; they could seriously affect Bangladesh’s internal stability as well.
Comparison with 1971 Liberation War
Ashraf Uddin Nizan warned that if the global conflict continues, the situation in Bangladesh could become even more severe than during the Bangladesh Liberation War. He warns,
Translation: If this global conflict continues, the situation in Bangladesh could become more severe than during the 1971 Liberation War. We must be aware from now.
In his speech, the Whip urged people across the country to remain mentally prepared and stay alert to face any possible situation. He also advised everyone to remain patient and carefully observe the evolving global conditions.
