The International Crimes Tribunal-1 has ordered Fazlur Rahman to appear and give an explanation on December 8. The tribunal issued this order after the hearing on Sunday (November 30).
Tribunal’s comment: Involved in treason
The tribunal said during the hearing,
আদালত রাষ্ট্রের অংশ। ফলে ফজলুর রহমানের বক্তব্য রাষ্ট্রদ্রোহিতার সামিল। এ সময় ফজলুর রহমানের ওকালতির লাইসেন্স আছে কি না প্রসিকিউশনের কাছে জানতে চান ট্রাইব্যুনাল
Translation: The court is a part of the state. Therefore, Fazlur Rahman’s statement amounts to treason. At this time, the tribunal wants to know from the prosecution whether Fazlur Rahman has a license to practice law.

Prosecution’s allegations
Earlier, prosecutor Gazi Monwar Hussain Tamim filed a complaint against him at the International Crimes Tribunal last Wednesday. The complaint states that Fazlur Rahman said on a talk show,
এই কোর্টের গঠনপ্রক্রিয়া বলে, এই কোর্টে বিচার হইতে পারে না। এই কোর্টে যারা বিচার করছেন, আমার ধারণা এদের মধ্যে ভেতরে একটা কথা আছে।
Translation: The formation process of this court means that trials cannot be held in this court. I think those who are conducting trials in this court have something to say.
