The spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha and independent candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency, Sharif Osman Hadi, is currently undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital. Positive news regarding his health condition has been shared by his elder brother, Omar Faruk.
Speaking on Monday shortly after 12:30 a.m. from Singapore, Omar Faruk quoted the attending physicians, saying,
“হাদির শ্বাস-প্রশ্বাস ও হার্টবিট এখন স্বাভাবিক রয়েছে। আগের তুলনায় তার হৃদপিণ্ডের কার্যক্ষমতাও বেড়েছে। বর্তমানে হাদির শারীরিক অবস্থা স্থিতিশীল বলে জানিয়েছেন চিকিৎসকরা।”
Translation: “Hadi’s breathing and heartbeat are now normal. Compared to earlier, his heart function has improved. Doctors have described his current physical condition as stable.”
According to relevant sources, Osman Hadi’s health deteriorated during the transfer to Singapore as his breathing and heart rate increased.
As a result, he was rushed directly from the airport to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Singapore General Hospital, where treatment began immediately. Omar Faruk further explained,
“চিকিৎসকরা তাকে স্যালাইনের মাধ্যমে বেশ কিছু ওষুধ পুশ করেন এবং তাকে দুই ঘণ্টা পর্যবেক্ষণে রাখেন। এরপর হাদি চিকিৎসায় সাড়া দেওয়া শুরু করেন। তার শ্বাস-প্রশ্বাস ও হার্টবিট স্বাভাবিক হয়ে আসে এবং তার হৃদপিণ্ড আগের চেয়ে বেশি কাজ করা শুরু করে।”

Translation: “Doctors administered several medications through saline and kept him under observation for two hours. After that, Hadi began responding to treatment. His breathing and heartbeat returned to normal, and his heart started functioning more effectively than before.”
He added,
“ওসমান হাদির স্বাস্থ্যের অবস্থা স্থিতিশীল হলে তার জন্য অতি প্রয়োজনীয় সব স্বাস্থ্যগত পরীক্ষা সোমবার দিবাগত রাতেই (বাংলাদেশ সময় রাত ২টা পর্যন্ত) সম্পন্ন করা হয়। তাকে বিশেষায়িত আইসিইউতে রাখা হয়েছে। সোমবার রাত থেকে আজ মঙ্গলবার দুপুর পর্যন্ত চিকিৎসকরা তাকে নিবিড় পর্যবেক্ষণে রাখবেন।”
Translation: “Once Osman Hadi’s condition stabilized, all urgently required medical examinations were completed on Monday night itself, up to 2:00 a.m. Bangladesh time. He has been placed in a specialized ICU. From Monday night until Tuesday noon, doctors will keep him under intensive monitoring.”
Earlier, Osman Hadi was admitted to Singapore General Hospital at 6:50 p.m. Bangladesh time.
