Elder Brother to Lead Janaza Prayer
The janaza of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha, will be held today (Saturday, 20 December) at 2:00 PM at Manik Mia Avenue. The prayer will be led by Hadi’s elder brother, Abu Bakar Siddiq.
Dr. Md. Abdul Ahad, a neurosurgery doctor at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) and member secretary of the National Health Alliance (NHA), confirmed this information.
He said that the burial will take place beside the grave of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.

Official Announcement and Government Guidelines
The Chief Adviser’s Press Wing stated that the janaza will be held at 2:00 PM at the South Plaza of the National Parliament Building.
The government has also issued certain rules for attendees:
- No heavy bags or objects are allowed
- Flying drones in and around the Parliament area during the janaza is strictly prohibited
Arrival of Hadi’s Body and Burial Plan
Osman Hadi’s body arrived in Dhaka on Friday (19 December) around 5:45 PM. It was then taken to a cold storage facility at the airport.
After the janaza, Hadi will be buried at Dhaka University, beside the grave of poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, according to Inqilab Mancha.
