Statement from Masuma Hadi
Speaking at the programme, Masuma Hadi said:
Translation: “At this moment, I have nothing personal to say. However, if the Inqilab Mancha and my family decide, I am willing to contest the election.”
Her supporters and well-wishers formed the human chain demanding her nomination as a parliamentary candidate.

Voices from the Human Chain

They said:
He wanted to go to parliament to speak for justice, the people, and against fascism. The killers silenced him, but we want Shaheed Osman Hadi’s fight for the country, the people, and justice to remain alive and inspired.
They further added:
They see Osman Hadi’s reflection in his sister Masuma Hadi and want her to be the parliamentary candidate for Dhaka-8, saying that this is also the desire of the people of the country.
