While returning from Comilla to Dhaka on Thursday morning (November 28), Hassnat Abdullah’s vehicle was involved in another collision, this time at Jatrabari, the capital. According to reports, his car had previously been in two collisions, one in Gulistan and one in Matuil. A truck struck and ran away in Matuil, and a mini truck collided in Gulistan. Hassnat Abdullah suspects these incidents may have been planned attacks. Earlier, on Wednesday evening around 7:30 PM, while returning from paying respects at the grave of Advocate Saiful Islam Alif, Hassnat’s car, part of a convoy, was hit by a truck at the Haji Road junction in Chunti Union on the Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar Highway. The front of the car was damaged. The truck that caused the accident was later seized by the police, and its driver, Mujibur Rahman (40), from Bailor village in Trishal, Mymensingh, was arrested.
