One Group Consumes, Another Awaits Their Turn : Azhari

Renowned Islamic speaker Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari stated that since independence, there has only been a change of rulers, but the people have gained nothing. One group has enjoyed privileges, while another is ready to take over. “We don’t want this,” he said. “We want a truly independent and sovereign Bangladesh. We want a corruption-free Bangladesh.

He made these remarks on Friday night (January 3) as the chief guest at a three-day Tafsirul Quran Mahfil in Jessore.

He further stated, “Bangladesh has become a hub of corruption. In the last 15 years, nearly 3 trillion takas have been looted in the name of development. This rampant looting has forced people to take refuge on the streets.” Dr. Mizanur Rahman said, “We must shape our lives and families through Islam. Without prescriptions from the Quran, neither life, society, nor the state can be truly beautiful. Without applying Quranic guidance, corruption cannot be stopped merely by forming anti-corruption commissions. For this, we need the laws of the Quran. The government should focus on developing human resources. May Allah enable each of us to use our given abilities to work for Islam and our country. Let us pray for this effort.”

He added, “The true identity of Bangladesh is Islam. We want to see the flag of the Kalima raised in the parliament, Bangabhaban, and government offices of this country.”

Azhari also said, “If people wish, they can conquer the world. No one can defeat the human spirit. Allah has blessed us with a significant population. This population is a great asset, not a curse. If we can transform our population into human resources, Bangladesh can achieve twenty times more progress than its current state
