Tom Holland and Zendaya’s relationship is growing stronger! The 28-year-old Spider-Man co-stars are engaged, a family source told PEOPLE. First to report on the news was TMZ. The site claims that Holland proposed during the holidays at one of Zendaya’s relatives’ houses.
According to a another source, “everyone close to them knew an engagement was happening” but did not specify when. According to the insider, Holland has been eager to pop the question to Zendaya “for a while.” “He has always had an obsession with her. She was always the one for him. According to the source, Holland told pals about the good news around New Year’s, saying, “They have something very special.”
The couple intends to take their time getting married. The source went on to say, “They won’t rush a wedding and will just enjoy things for now.” “They are both busy with work projects.”
The two are currently enjoying the unique moment. “Tom has a charming way of telling everyone that Zendaya is his. She truly is, and it’s official now!” the source told PEOPLE.
The announcement follows Zendaya wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger when she attended the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5. According to the jewelry brand’s website’s engagement section, the ring looks to be a 5.02-carat East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring by Jessica McCormack. Over the ensuing months and years, the couple’s romance grew even more. Additionally, Zendaya quietly expressed her love for Holland while they kept a low profile. “Happiest of birthdays to the one who makes me the happiest <3,” she said in a June 2022 Instagram post honoring the Uncharted star’s 26th birthday, accompanied with a black-and-white photo of the two of them cuddling.
In March 2023, Zendaya’s nail artist shared a video of her wearing a gold ring engraved with Holland’s initials on Instagram.
