The Bangladesh Garments and Sweater Workers’ Trade Union Centre’s legal affairs secretary, Khayrul Mamun Mintu, said the unrest was caused by workers, especially those from the Sharmin Group, who claimed that although Ha-Meem employees received good treatment during the festive feast, the hospitality they received was inadequate.
