Bangladesh Activates E-Visa Facility for Pakistani Tourists

Bangladesh has made it easier for Pakistanis to apply for visas by enabling online applications. This action is a step toward developing closer connections between the two countries as Dhaka loosens its visa regulations for Pakistan.

Muhammad Iqbal Khan, the ambassador of Bangladesh to Pakistan, emphasized the value of fostering cordial ties during a visit to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). He underlined that greater cooperation between Bangladesh and Pakistan is essential for both countries’ development and prosperity. Additionally, the ambassador emphasized the important role that institutions such as LCCI can play in promoting bilateral commerce. In order to exploit potential prospects between Islamabad and Dhaka, he urged for strengthened financial and economic relations.

Under Professor Muhammad Yunus’s interim administration in Bangladesh, ties between the two nations are developing at the same time as this project. The government, which succeeded the administration of Sheikh Hasina, has stated that it is committed to enhancing regional cooperation.

It is anticipated that the online visa service would boost cultural and economic interactions by enticing more Pakistanis to travel to Bangladesh. The two South Asian countries’ relationship has entered a new phase as a result of this development.
