In a significant technological partnership to begin 2025, Elon Musk and Tim Cook have teamed up to create a “game-changing” update for the iPhone. Through their partnership, Apple and SpaceX have secretly added network compatibility to the most recent iOS 18.3 update, enabling Starlink satellite connectivity. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims that Apple has been secretly collaborating with T-Mobile and SpaceX to include Starlink functionality into its iPhone OS, providing a substitute for its exclusive satellite communication service. Gurman calls this a “covert action,” while IBC Group founder Mario Nawfal describes it as a major transformation.
