Thursday, 13 February, during the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), the metro rail has set a new achievement in passenger transport by carrying 403,164 passengers in a single day. On Friday (14 February), on its verified Facebook page, the DMTCL declared that the amount marks the highest single-day passenger count since the Raul service’s launch in the capital city.
In attaining the milestone, it declared gratitude to passengers, well-wishers, and stockholders for their aid. Simultaneously, the DMTCL prolonged its thanks to road transport and bridges and railways adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan and senior secretary Ehsanul Haque for their guidance and support.
