The Corolla Axio and Fielder are built on the Toyota B platform. Which originated with the 2005 second-generation Toyota Yaris. The platform is far older than the TNGA-C design seen in the 2018 Corolla which was delivered from Australia despite constant upgrades.
End of Production
According to several car magazines, Toyota plans to stop producing the Corolla Axio and Fielder ‘E160’ generation in Japan by October 2025. For more than ten years, the Corolla Axio and Fielder have been in production, providing auto fans with an affordable mode of transportation. In areas like Bangladesh where durability and price are important factors. Their straightforward design and sparse circuitry made them a cost-effective option. These cars were mostly aimed at budget conscious consumers who valued dependability and fuel economy over cutting edge features. Despite having upgraded technology and contemporary safety features the worldwide Corolla is nevertheless much more expensive than these two variants.
