Due to the Israel’s savage aggression on Palestinians, thousands of Palestinian casualty will arrive in Bangladesh to seek treatment. It is a Bangladeshi volunteer group, Al Markazul Islami, along with other organizations, which started the process of sending 1,000 Palestinian casualty to Bangladesh to receive treatment and rehabilitation in the first phase, which will likely rise to 2,000 in the future.

Al Markazul Islami also mentioned that the majority of the injured are in a serious condition — some have lost both arms and legs, and some of them are in a critical condition. Some women have also lost their husbands, and some children have had their parents killed. Taking the victims to Bangladesh and treating them is being seen as a humanitarian gesture.

Bangladesh’s magnanimity was lauded by the organizers and they wrote that, if the project succeeds, it will bring the country a positive image internationally and show the rest of the world the supremacy of its healthcare system. They also wrote that, by the blessings of Allah and the support of the government, the project will succeed. Medical treatment, training, and rehabilitation will be given to the injured Palestinians and then they will leave once more for their homeland.
