A young man named Istiyak Ahmed, who loved photography, lost his life in a very tragic way. On Friday, May 2nd, he was photographing flowers from a railway track in Dhaka’s Kuril neighbourhood. While he was engrossed with his camera, a fast-moving train approached, and he did not detect it in time.The train hit him, and he died on the spot.

Too concentrated on the camera to notice the danger

What transpired is captured in a video that was published on social media. In the footage, Istiyak can be seen concentrating intensely on his camera. He was so concentrated that he didn’t notice a train approaching from behind. People around shouted warnings, but it was too late. The train approached at fast speed and ran over him. This terrible scene occurred in just a few seconds.

Shock and Sadness on Social Media

After the news of his death spread, many people who followed him and loved his photography shared messages of sadness and sympathy on Facebook. His friends, fans, and fellow photographers were heartbroken. One person wrote:
