A woman pedestrian was killed after being hit by a passenger bus in Bordbazar area of Gazipur metropolis on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway. After pushing the woman, the driver drove the bus for about one kilometer while the woman was stuck behind the bus, witnesses said. Later local people stopped the bus and set it on fire.
This incident happened around nine o’clock on Monday night. At that time, another pedestrian was injured in the bus. The police could not immediately confirm the identities of the dead and the injured.
