The Chief Adviser of the current caretaker government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus will hold separate meetings with leaders of BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) and Jamaat-e-Islami today.

According to an official from the Chief Adviser’s Office:

  • The meeting with BNP leaders is scheduled for 4:00 PM today.
  • The meeting with Jamaat leaders will be held at 6:00 PM on the same day.

Both meetings will take place at the State Guest House Jamuna in Dhaka.

In the last few days, the political situation in the country has become tense. Due to this pressure, Chief Adviser Dr. Yunus has informed the Advisory Council that he is thinking about resigning from his post.
